The "Worst News" Ever

I know I’ve not posted in a while. Suffice it to say, life has gotten in the way. Which makes me a little sad, because there has been much to rant about. I’ve been following current events, just haven’t typed myself into a lather over it. Until today that is. Today I found something that really steams my glasses! I don’t even wear glasses!

See, despite what the Libs may think of us Conservatives, we tend to stay informed. This may even mean reading a lib blog to see what the nutjobs have thought up this time. So, today I read some errant posting which references an article that hints at the Government really being out to stifle free Speech. By any means necessary. The blog only ran a tidbit, but linked to the paranoia fueled tripe out of Virginia, in its entirety.

The whole of the article is as follows:

ALEXANDRIA, Va.

(AP) -- An editorial writer for the Alexandria Intelligencer, Carl Bury, was reportedly arrested by federal agents last night. Neighbors say they were awakened by shouting around midnight as Bury was taken away in an unmarked van. The men apprehending Bury identified themselves as being "with the government" and left before neighbors could question them further.

The staff at the Alexandria Intelligencer say they have been unable to learn what has happened to Bury, other than being told by police that it is a federal matter. Bury had often written controversial editorials denouncing the Bush administration as illegal and alleging that there is proof that President Bush knew about the September 11th terrorist attacks beforehand. Bury has no criminal record, and the local police are not aware of the reason for his arrest.

The White House has yet to respond to this matter.

Wow! Just about proves the AP will wire anything, doesn’t it? And, apparently, the moonbats are biting like bass on stink bait. I mean, really, If the Government were going to make people disappear, don’t you think they’d get to the leaks in the DoD first. At least make Ted Kennedy disappear. Call it a beautification project. But the reporters? It just boggles my mind. Who the hell believes them anyway? Besides barking mad moonbats that is.

The posted comments were no better. The raging Loons were adding to the paranoia inferno with their own “true stories”. Tales of folks that they protested with, or read blogs by, suddenly becoming very, very scarce, or even completely silent, according to some.

Here’s a clue to the Librofascist conspiracy wackjobs out there: We are FOR free speech and personal freedom. It’s you that are trying to stifle free speech. I don’t care if your Holy AP did send the copy through. We all know they’d print the recipe for Rice Krispie squares if it would damage the current administration.

Wankers!
