A Very Special Absurd Spices

I am new to this blogging thing, as I’m sure my number of posts will testify to. Some days I don’t know what to write about, or what direction to take this thing in. I mean, there are literally blogs about everything. But, I knew in my heart of hearts that this sure as hell wasn’t going to be a LiveJournal. I’ll leave that to the angsty, over privileged teens who have everything, but still bitch that life is so unfair and dark for them.

The goal, of course, being what it is, has developed this blog into a bit of a rant factory. And you know what? I really like it that way. Daily, when I read about the state of the world, my country, someone else’s crap 3^rd world barrel of graft, corruption, and the oh so fantastic socialist/Islamist masses; I nearly have an apoplexy trying to contain my rage. I’ve come to the conclusion that Earthquakes in these regions are just God shaking the hell out of these people in hopes that they’ll snap out of it.

That being said, now I can move on to some thank-yous to folk that have inspired or at least encouraged me to keep going. Firstly would be my good friend in Connecticut who continues to nag me to post. He’s my readership, mostly. Then there is Jimmy from The Conservative UAW Guy, who actually enjoys reading my diatribes whether they are coherent or not. Jimmy, I’ve called your doc to up your meds. Also, Peace Moonbeam of the Peace Moonbeam Chronicles for linking to my rather insignificant flyspeck of a blog. Her stuff is pretty damned good in the Satire arena, so check it out. Also, they would be Frank J. and team at IMAO, Scott Ott at Scrappleface and Buckley F. Williams at The Nose on Your Face.. As I’m a fan of Satire, the stuff they post is humorous, but links to the real impetus behind the satire, which helps me get angry enough to write a rant about how cock-eyed leftist perception is.
